Punjab Govt. is distributing free laptops among the Punjab Youth. Laptops have been handed over to the students of some districts earlier in February and March. The schedule for Faisalabad, Lahore, Hafizabad, Narowal and other cities are announced.
The distribution in many cities has already taken place. These dates and cities names are as under.

In April 2012, the 2nd phase of laptop registration will be started. So, don’t worry Saddiqa you will get laptop after few months surely. The 2nd Phase is for this purpose which you are suffering.

Student from 6 districts of UAF are going to receive their laptops in march, but University of Agriculture, Faislabad students from other than those 6 districts may get their laptops in first week April. It is not yet confirmed.

i am trying to confirm it but don’t know y they are not giving the laptops to UAF Students. There is no time limit of time, you should just pray that Shahbaz Sharif will remind that he has not yet given laptops to the students of UAF.

date of 2nd phase will be available after 1st Phase ends, but we don’t know why CM is not giving laptops in some universities left i.e. UAF Faisalabad. You have to wait till the end of 1st Phase and after this gov. of Punjab will issue some schedule of 2nd Phase.

Being student of M. Phil I was registered for laptop when the scheme was started. The laptop distribution started from lower Punjab. Luckily they got laptops within 1 or 2 month. But we have been waiting since the scheme started. Now our turn came, we were said that your semester is end now. Do u think it is justice? you should start 2nd phase as soon as. because the teniure of the government is going to end. the budget is given on 15 may by federal government. the student of 1st phase is spreading news that there is no laptop for the 2nd phase students. we are paying more fee then morning students but not getting laptop yet. it is our fundamental right. you should keep care of our rights.

sure this is your right and you will also get laptops by CM Punjab.
You are right, CM Punjab had to give laptops to all the students earlier but now i don’t know what he was doing. Laptops in some universities and Prizes of Punjab level for the CM Competition is not yet given.
Its a chance that you will get a laptop because your name is forward to the next department which make a list of students those who get laptops. So you should contact the administration of your university to get the present stats.
I will also inform you by mail if i will get any latest news about your issue.

1st phase is ending in 2 week of april, so lets see government will give some date of 2nd round. i will also ask the question to someone who is authorized.

I have received dates of Rawalpindi and Faisalabad laptop distribution ceremony dates. According to the dates rwp laptop distribution has done but yet now just Fsd remains. 2nd phase of laptop distribution….Extremely good news for merit scholars enrolled in evening programs and for those merit scholars who are enrolled in morning programs and who were eligible for the award of laptops but remained unregistered. Distribution of laptops is commencing in two phases, the first from 28th of May till 18th of June in which almost 15,000 merit scholars will be awarded laptops. The second phase will commence right after the summer vacations. A detailed plan will be publicised soon.

The distribution for 2nd phase will start from 28th may 2012 to 18th June 2012. Hope so that students from Lahore who have not yet received laptops will get these gadgets from CM during the said time period. this is for all the Punjab.

No accurate information about the disabled students. they are following merit and in some universities disabled students who were on merit were given the laptops.

Sir there are other students in punjab which are talented but studying in private universities of punjab with scholarships like college of EME NUST RAWALPINDI . They get scholarship because they cannot pay fee. They are also not able to buy laptop. And they are in need of laptop for study . I suggest you to help them .
